MIAMI – August 4, 2015 – The City of Sunny Isles Beach has selected and commissioned Lynx Construction Management, an affiliate of The Lynx Companies, to conduct renovation, maintenance and infrastructural repair work of the Government Center and its adjacent parking garage, as well across other related buildings, facilities and parks.
Work at the Government Center will include renovation of the building envelope, repairs of its fountain, cast-in-place concrete and precast concrete panel repairs, and aesthetic enhancements that include painting, sealing, tile and metals replacement. In addition, the Government Center’s infrastructure will be strengthened by replacing the existing emergency generator, and through the addition of a new standby generator.
With the addition of several high-visibility projects in 2015 that range from civic (the expansion of Miami-Dade County’s first no-kill Animal Services Shelter) to private (the expansion of the Baker Furniture showroom at the Design Center of the Americas [DCOTA]), Lynx Construction Management is exponentially growing its portfolio of construction projects, while serving its highest level vision of bridging Miami’s past with its future, while honoring its identity. Key civic projects like that of Sunny Isles and the Animal Services Shelter expansion allow the firm to also contribute to building a better Miami for all, directly through its project portfolio.
“We are proud to have been selected by the City of Sunny Isles to renovate, repair and maintain its Government Center and other buildings” stated Christopher M. Moran, President of Lynx Construction Management. “Civic projects like this for Sunny Isles allow us to see our business grow through civic projects that build a better South Florida for all, for that, we are honored and proud.”
